Progressive organized two days leadership training camp for students on 19th and 20th October 2018 to provide an open platform to interact and learn about practical leadership. The camp allowed the students to relax their mind in a refreshing environment learning the basic lessons of leadership and communal harmony. The camp helped to redefine their moral values and put them to the test in the real world. The camp made character-related concepts more accessible and relevant to teenagers. It demonstrated how their position as role models requires them to continuously develop and refine their own core values. The students interacted with renowned personalities in various walks of life . The goal was to inspire all students involved to take ownership of their identity as leaders of character and to dedicate themselves to honesty, respect, responsibility, and integrity in all areas of life. Over the course of the camp, the students stayed in the school and attended sessions which was led by experts and listened to motivational speakers. Mr. S A P Abdul Salam, Managing Director inaugurated the camp. Campers participated in team-building and role-playing exercises that focus on a wide range of topics, from rational decision-making, conflict resolution to differentiating right from wrong and developing habits of ethical living.They felt that there were many things they could do for the world and they learnt the virtue of courage and confidence. After the camp, the participants will undergo more classes of character coaching by their school moral teachers and experts. It is hoped that the students who are attending the camp will take what they have learnt over the period at the camp and spread it to their teammates and fellow students.
