Amidst the applause and cheers of the multitudes gathered at the closing ceremony ,the senior secondary students of Progressive EnglishSschool fulfilled its dream of capturing the overall championship at the senior secondary level thereby bringing laurels to the school in the maiden Kalotsav 2015 conducted by Vidya Sahodaya school complex,followed by Al Haramain sweeping away the overall championship at the secondary level as well as the first runners up title at senior secondary level. The victory was doubly sweet as Progressive hosted the events at its campus on 28^th  October 2015. The inaugural ceremony was blessed with the august presence of Mr.P.K Parakkadavu,a prolific writer and Mr.Kanhangad Ramachandran,a reknowned musician and a playback singer. In all the group items our students splashed their expertise on stage and gained the appreciation from the audience. Dr. Bagyalakshmi,guest of honour for the closing ceremony gave away the trophies and championships to the winners.On the whole,this Kalotsav boosted the confidence of the students and teachers.
