As time moves, so do the children grow. At progressive it was time to bid farewell  the students of 12^th standard . The farewell function, organized by the 11^th std students of progressive, was held on 20^th Feb 2015, at School Auditorium.

The function commenced with a prayer, followed by the welcome speech of Mr.Rizwan Ahmed. Mr.Muhammed Sajid PK, Principal of the school, while presiding the function, appreciated the students for their overall achievements during the past academic year.

This was followed by the keynote address of Mr.V K Hamza Abbas, Chairman of Wadihuda Group of Institutions. During his talk, he inspired the students to dream high and do their best for achieving their goals. He also reminded the students about their duties towards the development of the society.

Mr.SAP Abdul Salam, Vice Chairman of Wadihuda Group of Institutions, remarked the students for their good moral values practiced in the school campus and urged to keep up the values learnt, in their life.

Also Mr.Muhammed Kunhi, General Secretary of Wadihuda Group and Mr.Shahul Hameed, Principal of Wadihuda Pvt ITI, extended their regards and blessings to the students.

Section heads Mrs.Roopa OP, Babu T, and Usha M offered their blessings for the coming examination. Vice principal Mrs.Suchithra.R expressed her great hope that the students will come out with flying colors. Later during the function, the Principal presented the students with mementos, as a token of remembrance.

Next it was the opportunity of the students to express their feelings and emotions. Miss.Lamiya of +1 science delivered the farewell message. Some Students expressed their feelings by remembering the good old times during the schooling.

The function came to an end, with students overwhelmed by the tribute given by their juniors and they all realized that they have a long journey to move ahead with responsibilities towards the society and family.
