"Solidarity with Palestinian" On November 27, 2023, the Arabic and Islamic Studies Department of Progressive English School took a great step to promote awareness and solidarity with Palestine among students through various creative competitions. 1. Poster and Collage Making (Class 1 & 2): Theme: "No War" Children expressed their understanding of peace through vibrant and imaginative posters and collages. 2.Poster and Collage Making (Class3 & 4):Theme: "Save Gaza" Students showcased their artistic skills while raising awareness about the situation in Gaza through visually compelling posters and collages. 3. Letter Writing (Class 5): Theme: "A Letter to a Friend in Gaza" Class 5 students exhibited empathy and creativity as they wrote heartfelt letters, fostering a sense of connection with their peers in Gaza. 4. Speech Competition (Class 1 to 5):Theme: "No War" Students from different classes eloquently expressed their thoughts on peace and the impact of wars, promoting a message of unity and understanding. All the competitions were well-organized, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students to participate and showcase their talents.A significant number of students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating a keen interest in the cause and the creative expression of their views. The event proved to be a commendable effort in educating and involving students in global issues.By combining creativity with educational initiatives, the event not only highlighted the importance of peace but also instilled values of empathy and understanding among the students.
