The mathematics club was inaugurated in the Progressive English School auditorium on June 28, 2023. The special guest of the program, Dr. Shijina V, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Cooperative Arts and Science College Madayi, inaugurated the club. In her keynote address, she spoke about the multidisciplinary value of mathematics. She appreciated the Math Department for their initiative to arouse interest and a positive attitude towards the subject. Children who scored high marks in the annual examination were felicitated with the memento at the ceremony. Master Muhammad Farhan from IX A won the hearts of the chief guest and audience through his card magic. Then the Chief Guest interacted with children, and she provided some tips that made calculations fast and accurate.
